A pack of suitors chasing Benfica defender Alejandro Grimaldo is getting longer and longer.
The latest reports coming from Mundo Deportivo are claiming the 23-year-old Spanish left-back has attracted attention from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, while Atletico Madrid, Napoli and most recently Inter Milan are also gunning for the player.
Grimaldo was the product of Barcelona’s fabled academy but he never got the opportunity to prove his worth at Camp Nou and moved to Benfica in 2016. Over the past two years he emerged into a key player for the Portuguese giants.
He scored three goals and assisted another five this season in the Portuguese top flight and could be well on his way out of Benfica at the end of the season.
