Brazil right-back Dani Alves left Serie A champions Juventus after a disagreement with the board at the end of the season.

Former Sevilla and Barcelona superstar is winding down final years of his career but despite his age is still considered a valuable asset.

Alves was heavily linked with a move to Manchester City last week after reportedly agreeing on a two-year deal with the Citizens.

His former manager Pep Guardiola was left angry and disappointed as the Brazilian’s head got turned by the French giants Paris Saint-Germain, however, who now look set to sign the experienced veteran right-back.

Ligue 1 heavyweights have reportedly presented Alves with a whopping £230,000 per week contract, which is almost double the amount Manchester City were willing to pay for the 34-year-old.
